Maria Sharapova – Ana Ivanovic
Maria Sharapova will play the Australian Open 2008 final against #4 seed Ana Ivanovic of Serbia on Saturday 26th Jan. at 13.30 Australian time in Melbourne.
Sharapova will be bidding for her 3rd Grand Slam title having won Wimbledon at the age of 17 in 2004 and the US Open in 2006. This is Maria’s 2nd consecutive year in the final here.
It’s been a long run for Maria, and being in tomorrow final is a testimony of her tenacity and work ethic.
So, it is expected to see an exciting final – good luck, Maria
