is pregnant, she told TODAY’s Natalie Morales today.

I’m going to be a mom!

The baby, a girl, is due in April, she said, and she has already got several sonograms.

Giada Pamela Di Laurentiis is the current host of the Food Network programs Everyday Italian, Behind the Bash, Giada’s Weekend Getaways and Giada in Paradise.

She also appears regularly on Today either as a food contributor or guest co-host.

In 2003 she married Todd Thompson, a clothing designer for a fashion company.
